Family Medicine Physician

Novant Health Lewisville Family Medicine is currently recruiting a BE/BC Family Medicine physician to join their practice located in Lewisville, NC.  The community of Lewisville and surrounding areas have trusted the providers at Lewisville Family Medicine with their healthcare needs since 1994. The practice serves pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations with their primary care needs, excluding obstetrics. The office is open 7 days a week, offering a special weekend clinic operated by a Family Nurse Practitioner and support team to increase access and availability to care for patients. The clinic’s typical physician schedule is 4 days a week, with direct patient contact hours of 7:30 am-5 pm. Average patient panel is anticipated to be 22 per day, per provider. The physicians within the clinic share after hours call responsibility with another local Novant Health office. Lab and x-ray services are done on-site.  

Lewisville, NC is located 10 minutes from Winston-Salem, NC.   Winston-Salem is rated one of the best places to live in North Carolina.  The city offers eclectic shops, fine to casual dining, craft breweries, historical sites and adventures for the outdoorsman. Easy access to the NC coast, Blue Ridge mountains and an international airport.

Education: 

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
• Completion of an accredited residency program required
• For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Current MD license in appropriate state
• board certification or eligibility
• current DEA license required
